The Bull Inn, Linton

Reopening 12 April 2021 after lockdown

Let us first express a warm welcome back to our valued and loyal customers.

From the 12th April we will reopen the gardens at The Bull, obviously adhering to the current government guidelines.

We will not be operating time slots, you can stay for as long as you like, there will be no bookings available, just turn up and take a seat. The outside bar will be open for all food and drink requirements.

All being well from 17th May, we will open the pub in its entirety, once again adhering to the current government guidelines, then hopefully on the 21st June a cautious return to normality.

We very much look forward to seeing you all in April.

Bob, Kim and the Team at The Bull

The village of Linton is set in a pleasant rural setting located south of Maidstone on the A229 Hastings Road. It is here that The Bull Inn is, and has been since well before 1674 when the first licensee was listed. The hub of village activity, drawing local residents and tourists alike to enjoy a fine range of drinks and a superb menu, all at realistic prices. The Bull Inn has comfortable surroundings, simply oozing the ambience of years gone by. Come in for food, drink or afternoon tea any day of the week!

So with drink in hand, you can sit back and relax in a perfect pub where there are a selection of real ales, and an extensive restaurant menu, which includes dishes with locally sourced ingredients.

As a Kentish Pub, we serve cask and keg ales from the country's oldest brewer Shepherd Neame and the brewery is just down the road at Faversham!

The comfortable bar is heavily beamed and comfortably furnished withtraditional carved leather settees and wooden tables. Serving well kept ales including Spitfire Gold, Master Brew and a monthly guest ale, plus a large selection of bottled beers and lagers. We also have a varied and interesting wine list.

Our large beer garden and Patio seating areas at the rear of The Bull offer seating as well as lawns to admire the truly spectacular view and an ideal setting for sunny summer evenings and weekends.

Our building used to be three separate places of work; an Inn, post office and barbers. The old post office and tailors is now our cosy restaurant. The Bull Inn has always enjoyed a good reputation as one of the most welcoming pubs with a restaurant that offers a wide range of exciting dishes, based upon the ethic of employing fresh ingredients from local suppliers.

There is an ever changing specials board, which contains more exciting and unusual dishes. These mouth-watering meals ensure that the menu offers something new to even the most regular of customers.

On Sundays we host our traditional carvery, 12pm - 9pm, with all the classic trimmings you would expect from a traditional pub.

The Weald Room offers a friendly, welcoming environment. Here, free from distraction, your guests will enjoy the specialist attention, facilities and service that make the Bull Inn a first class venue.
